US Elections and Policies of Trump and Biden against Coronavirus
Data from The Election Project foresees more than 50 million Americans have cast ballots in presidential elections of the US. It probably will be the highest turnout at the US elections over a century.
There is an eye-popping interest in the contest between Republican candidate Donald Trump and former vice president Joe Biden from Democratic Party. People expect a result that will be reduced the risk of the exposure of the covid-19 epidemic which takes approximately 226.000 lives across the United States by a good president and administration. It seems as that’s why the high level of early voting happened this time, people chose to mail-in ballots since many states expanded in-person early voting ahead of the 3 November 2020 as a safe way during the coronavirus epidemic.
Michael Mcdonald, a professor from Florida University who conducts the US Election Project predicts the highest rate of voting since 2008 with 65% eligible voters over the country.
As the anxiety of the people against catching covid-19 is concerned, Trump who speaks and complains about the coverage of the coronavirus news on the media while texting on Twitter ‘’Covid, Covid, Covid is the unified chant of the Fake News Lamestream Media. They will talk about nothing else until November 4th. when the Election will be (hopefully!) over. Then the talk will be how low the death rate is, plenty of hospital rooms & many tests of young people’’. It doesn’t seem understandable to complain about a pandemic that has begun while he is still the President of the United States.
In the Presidential debate, Joe Biden accused Trump to be feared and hiding the seriousness of this pandemic from the US citizens when he first learned the cases of coronavirus and how serious the situation is.
On the other side, Joe Biden answered the question of how would you lead the country out of this crisis as they would make sure every people wear masks any time and will move the direction of rapid testing and put national standards to open schools safely.
While Trump saying the vaccine is coming soon in weeks and will be distributed very soon Joe Biden claims that they will make sure that they have a plan. It still seems uncertain how this epidemic will end with the policy of politicians. I hope Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer which are the companies working on finding a vaccine are really doing good or the American people will wait for Kanye West to heal the US since his slogan is ‘’We will heal’’.
